The placement of Air conditioning units in the bedroom should be on one of the sides of your bed but not directly above your bed. Thus, it could be placed on the left or right of your bed.

Putting right above it may result in health hazards and during repairs, it might spoil your bed if not taken care of.

 

Where To Place A Ceiling Fan?

Ideally, a ceiling fan should be placed close to the centre of your room. Also, it could be placed at the centre of your bed but the blade should be a minimum of 18inch away from the wall.

Fan height should be above 7ft. from the finish floor level.

For irregularly shaped room such as L shaped, a separate fan for each centre can be placed.

The size of a fan should be in accordance with the size of the room and surrounding.

Switchboards Should Be Placed At

1)  Entrance of your bedroom at one of the sides of door one  can easily access when entering (at least light and fan  switches)

2)  Bedside switchboards a little away from a place of the head but accessible from the bed.

3)  (at least one plug point near each person's sleeping side  and a two-way connection of one of the lights and fan)

4)  The the main switchboard should be placed where all can  easily access and somewhere in the centre of the bedroom)

5)  Extra plugs and lights as needed for work, dressing unit, wardrobe lights, etc.
