Procedure for Applying Wall care Putty

Step-1: The walls must be cleaned first. Cleaning of the wall can be done by metal brush

Step-2: Emery paper is also used to smooth the wall. (Grid paper 80-120 used)

Step-3: Wall putty is used to apply to smooth the walls. Usually, it 2-3 coats are taken for wall smoothens

Step-4: After applying the first coat, the coat is given some time to dry. After that, the second coat is applied, and the surface is smoothed with emery paper and then a third coat is applied. With this procedure, we will get a nice layer with a smooth coating.

Note: Undulations of wall checked by using the light bulb

Things to know before Applying POP

1. POP cannot apply in-wall putty directly. It can be applied to proper hacking

2. The POP is applied from 5 mm to 19 mm thickness by two to three layers

3. POP cannot be used on the external walls as it does not have water resistance. So, POP Gypsum Plaster is used only for interior parts.

4. If primer coat is applied after gypsum POP, it will make Paint coat absorption less

5. Gypsum POP plaster is the best material to use if decorative and other curved work is to be done on wall or ceiling.

Conclusion:

Gypsum POP has limited applications which can be used only in interior walls and ceilings, false ceilings, wall undulations that have 5mm to 19mm, and architectural designs.

Wall putty can do this too Expect Undulations coverage of more than 5mm and it can be used to fill cracks and give walls a smooth finish.

Wall putty has high strength and compressive strength as well as tensile and high bonding properties.

POP material is environmentally friendly and reduces the temperature of indoor rooms and acts as an insulator.

Finally, choose according to your interior design needs, style, and durability.
